About the Role:

As a General Merchandise Expert, you will be responsible for ensuring product availability and a consistent experience for our guests. This includes setting up products, maintaining accurate pricing and signage, and assisting guests with their needs. You will also be part of a team that leads inventory management, sales trends analysis, and process improvement in the General Merchandise areas of the store.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience providing excellent customer service
• Understanding of retail business essentials, including sales trends and inventory management
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet sales goals
• Attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Welcoming and helpful attitude towards guests and team members

Responsibilities:

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and providing assistance
• Engage with guests to understand their specific needs and provide relevant information
• Maintain knowledge of products and services to enhance guest experience
• Ensure sales floor is well-stocked, organized, and accurately signed
• Execute pricing, promotional, and planogram strategies
• Assist in non-General Merchandise areas of the store when needed
• Improve inventory accuracy through regular audits and scanning
• Handle backroom operations, including picking, packing, and receiving inventory
• Maintain a safe work environment and comply with all safety policies
• Support guest services, such as cashiering and order pick-up, when required
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the management team
