Primary Responsibilities

• Perform account reconciliations and analyses, and reviews accounting classifications, in accordance with generally-accepted accounting principles
• Review general ledger accounts and related activities for the production of financial reports and performance dashboard
• Analyze and prepare financial reports, including trend and variance analyses
• Involvement in projects to improve controls in internal process
• Review the work of others, conduct internal audits
• Support the analytical of billing, accounts receivable, and vendor payment operation
• Develop innovative approaches for continued improvement in efficiency and effectiveness

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with concentration in Accounting or Finance degree
• 3+ years of Accounting experience
• Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Proven to anticipate customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Public accounting experience
• Healthcare insurance industry experience
• Experience with SQL and Microsoft Access
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI

The salary range for this role is $71,600 to $140,600 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
