Accounts Payable Analyst - #262661

Neapco is currently seeking to fill the full-time position of Accounts Payable Analyst. This position is based out of our Farmington Hills, Michigan Global Headquarters and Technical Center and will support the corporate accounting group with primary focus on accounts payable for the Company’s North America Operations. Job Description: Accounts Payable Analyst

Responsibilities

• Data entry processing of accounts payable invoices for North America operations
• Assist with monthly accounting close and year end audits
• Ensure all accounts payable transactions comply with financial policies and procedures
• Charge expenses to appropriate accounts and cost centers by analyzing vendor invoices and employee expense reports
• Resolve purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation
• Review, verify and process employee expense reports and requests for travel advances
• Reconcile invoices and vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
• Communicate with internal receiving and purchasing personnel to resolve vendor account issues
• Perform other administrative activities and special projects as assigned by AP supervisor
  
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years of qualified related experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Intermediate Excel computer skills
• Ability to stay on task and work independently
• Demonstrates high level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
• Experience with PLEX ERP is a plus
  
  

Education

• Associate Degree or above in Accounting preferred
