This position contributes to the mission of AdventHealth Ocala and the goals of the department by being accountable for the delivery of patient care to a select group of patients within the scope of practice as defined by APTA/FPTA/ and under the direct supervision of licensed staff.

• Accurately follows directions on all tasks assigned by supervising therapist in order to facilitate smooth daily operations of Rehab Department.
• Accurately prepares treatment area and/or patient for therapy intervention.
• Demonstrates appropriate treatment techniques and body mechanics when assisting therapist.
• Impacts clinical care to patients by accurately and timely communicating patient's response to exercise.
• Accurately performs clerical/inventory duties as instructed.
  
  

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• AHA BLS
