Transdev in Olathe, Kansas is hiring an Administrative Assistant. This person performs all administrative functions for the location. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Non-CBA Position

  • Competitive compensation package of minimum $25.00/hr.-$28.00/hr.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform project clerical and administrative details according to contractual and legal mandates
  • Prepare contract correspondence, manager reports, and schedules.
  • Administer accounting data, payroll, personnel records.
  • Coordinate employee benefits at the contract level.
  • Answers telephone for front door and checks people in the building.
  • Makes copies of correspondence and other printed materials.
  • In charge of ordering, stocking, and keeping inventory of all office supplies
  • Works with company vendors ordering and reconciling billing.
  • Will run errands in company vehicle.
  • In charge of employee engagement via our social media outlets
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Office, data entry, or administrative experience a plus.
  • Experience with MS office products.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
  • Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not

authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Physical Requirements

The essential functions of this position require the ability to:

  • Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed

outside, work alone and in remote locations.

  • Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible

sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces

  • Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to

50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at

ground level

  • Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable

amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
