The Admin Services Specialist ensures that all administrative assignments are carried out in a professional, timely and confidential manner and that the office operates efficiently and effectively.
The Admin Services Specialist may also provide administrative support to Division Directors/staff and back-up coverage to other senior level executives as needed.

Experience REQUIRED:
Minimum of four (4) years of previous secretarial/administrative work experience in an office setting
Previous experience with Microsoft Office applications and e-mail/calendaring
Experience PREFERRED:
One (1) year of experience supervising staff
Two (2) years of previous experience performing accounting and/or budgeting functions in a corporate setting
Education/training REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Education/training PREFERRED:
Association Degree in Business, Accounting or related field from an accredited program
Independent action(s) required:
All administrative responsibilities are performed independently. Communicates and interacts with all levels of internal and external contacts; oversees operational aspects of office; coordinates/schedules all meeting and makes related arrangements; types a variety of documents; screens/refers calls; handles purchase requisitions and travel reimbursements, etc.
Supervisory responsibilities (if applicable):
May supervise assigned staff or interns/students.

This role will provide day-to-day assistance specifically to the Chief Nurse Executive for the health system.
