Eliada Homes is growing! We are seeking a dedicated and organized Agency Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing training programs for new hires and ensuring compliance with agency standards. This role requires collaboration with leadership and a commitment to enhancing the quality of training initiatives.
Major Responsibilities
Requirements
Knowledge/Experience:
BS/BA degree and QP status preferred. Minimum of five years experience in mental health services at direct care and supervisory/program management levels. The ideal candidate will possess trainer certification in the agency’s training models, i.e. TCI, First Aid/CPR, BBP, and others as identified. Practical experience in training employees.
Skills/Physical/Working Conditions
Computer skills with various types of software (database, word processing, and spreadsheets). Ability to problem solve and utilize creative thinking to address issues. Strong presentation and public speaking abilities. Excellent interpersonal skills. Self motivated and self directed. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to complete physical requirements of Therapeutic Crisis Intervention.

Major Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct pre-service training for new hires, including preparation of trainers, materials, facilities, and equipment.
- Develop training manuals and resources to support effective learning.
- Implement a standard agency orientation for all new employees to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to assess annual training needs and ensure compliance with licensure and accreditation standards.
- Monitor and improve the quality and effectiveness of training programs.
- Provide administrative oversight and organization for all employee training records.
- Assist with on-campus admission activities, including organizing events, providing information sessions, and supporting prospective students through the admission process.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in training and development or related fields.
- Knowledge of compliance standards related to training and accreditation.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Proficient in using training software and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
