Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic Architectural Intern with a basic knowledge of architectural principles and a desire to work on projects for various building types in our Evansville, IN office. Architectural Interns at Salas O’Brien are integral to our day-to-day production. These positions involve various duties in support of architectural design and engineering staff.
In this role, you will
In this internship, you will be expected to learn more design skills as your time here progresses. Contributing to the development of design concepts, presentations, and models for architectural projects. Preparing and assisting in the creation of architectural drawings, sections, elevations, and detail. This could also involve occasional trips to local project sites.

You Will Be a Great Fit If
- You are working towards a Bachelor of Science in Architecture
- Desire to Conduct research on building codes, material selection, and site analysis to support design decisions.
- Enjoy assisting with tasks like model making, preparing scaled drawings, and researching codes and standards.
- Are expanding your proficiency in design software like AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent work ethic and attitude.
- Interpersonal communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work.
- Ability work well as part of a team.
