**Position Overview**

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to join our team. This role requires a blend of design expertise, technical skills, and project management acumen. The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary projects across various market sectors, ensuring the delivery of high-quality designs that meet client needs and comply with industry standards. This position will be based in our Boise office but may require remote work and occasional travel for site visits.

**Responsibilities**

  • Oversee the design quality, implementation, and delivery of projects from conception to completion.
  • Coordinate with engineering and interior design teams to develop and execute architectural design concepts.
  • Develop project design intent and goals, ensuring successful project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, ADA requirements, and firm-wide standards.
  • Provide technical assistance and mentorship to junior designers.
  • Lead the team through all phases of the design process, including schematic design, construction design, and construction administration.
  • Conduct site surveys to gather dimensional information and document as-built field layouts.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Prepare communication graphics and presentations for client meetings.
  • Process construction submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings.
  • Maintain strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to function in a high-visibility role.

**Qualifications**

  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in an architectural firm.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience providing design and team guidance.
  • Minimum of 4 years of drafting experience within an architectural firm.
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field.
  • Licensed architect or the ability to obtain licensure within one year of employment.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of LEED principles is beneficial.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with project types such as mixed-use, retail, restaurant, and facility improvements.
  • Understanding of building codes, standards, and construction methods.
  • Proven ability to lead a team to project completion.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
