Nazdar manufactures the most comprehensive selection of UV, water-based, and solvent-based screen printing inks, flexographic inks, and wide-format digital inks obtainable from a single source. Nazdar inks are primarily used by printers in the Point of Purchase (POP), Banner, Container, Industrial, Metal, Nameplate- Membrane Switch, Roll Label, Sign, and Textile decorating markets.

Here’s What We’re Looking For

Nazdar is looking for an Associate Product Manager to support the department with various product marketing and product data tasks for manufactured digital and screen ink items.

This position will need to sit in the Kansas City Metro area as this is a hybrid position.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Supports Product Management department in overall product strategy, research and development requirements, development, and manufacturing coordination for new and emerging products.
  • Supports Product Management department market research and identifies and tracks market trends in company’s industry Coordinates technical product development, estimates of potential profits and release to production for products under their responsibility.
  • Supports Product Management department competitive analysis materials comparing product with its key competitors.
  • Supports Product Management department with expertise and training to other departments in support of product development.
  • Supports Product Management department with marketing materials as time allows.
  • Continues to expand knowledge base, technical expertise, and experience for products under their responsibility and potential growth for additional after-market product groups.
  • Manages day-to-day progress of product under their responsibility and reports monthly on progress.
  • Conducts marketing analysis to develop product definitions for Product Management department.
  • Develops and maintains a prioritized list of customer and market requirements for product for products under their responsibility.
  • Coordinates and develops marketing, sales, engineering, and financial plans for product for products under their responsibility.
  • Provides financial and technical justification for product selection and definition product for products under their responsibility.
  • Identifies partnering opportunities for complementary 3rd party products to broaden company’s product line for products under their responsibility.
  • Participates in key sales situation for the product for products under their responsibility.
  • Maintains communications and contact to collect and analyze technical, financial schedules and sales information on product line.
  • Collaborates with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and operations to develop and provide product definitions responsive to customer needs and market opportunities.
  • Prepares product development objectives and schedules for all phases of product development and introduction to market.
  • Assists with other duties as directed by supervisor.
  • Performs job according to pre-established safety, quality, and efficiency operating procedures.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Associates degree in marketing or related field of equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years industry experience required.
  • Previous marketing and color reproduction experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products required.
  • Self-driven, results oriented with a clear focus on high quality results.
