The Auto Body Technician is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service through the thorough assessment and repair of vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition. Key responsibilities include planning repair work, preparing cost estimates, using various tools for repairs, realigning chassis, replacing damaged parts, and repainting vehicles. The technician must complete work within labor time guidelines and ensure quality through inspections.

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to read job orders, work independently, and understand repair methods and tools.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 30 pounds, work in noisy environments, and perform various physical tasks.

Compensation: $70,000 - $150,000/year.
