The Service and Construction Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, financial performance, and strategic growth of the branch. This role combines leadership of service operations (maintenance, repairs, and customer support) with construction project management, ensuring high-quality delivery, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction. The manager will drive operational efficiency, lead a team of service technicians and project supervisors, and develop business opportunities within the local market

Branch Leadership & Operations

  • Direct, manage, and oversee all branch activities, including service operations and construction projects.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and growth goals.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor operational performance metrics and implement process improvements for efficiency.

Service Management

  • Supervise and support service department staff, including scheduling, dispatch, and field technicians.
  • Ensure timely completion of service calls and preventive maintenance.
  • Oversee customer satisfaction and resolve escalated service issues.
  • Maintain service contracts, warranties, and customer agreements.

Construction Management

  • Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of construction projects.
  • Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure project delivery on time and within budget.
  • Monitor project quality, safety, and compliance with specifications.
  • Manage project costs, estimates, and contract administration.

Financial & Business Development

  • Manage branch P&L, budgets, forecasts, and reporting.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for service and construction.
  • Maintain and grow client relationships, partnerships, and market presence.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients and vendors.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate service technicians, project managers, and administrative staff.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide leadership, motivation, and clear communication across the team.

Other

  • Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in service operations, construction management, or a related industry.
  • 3+ years of management experience leading teams in a service or construction environment.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, project management, and service operations.
  • Proven financial management skills (P&L, budgeting, forecasting).
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with project management and scheduling software; MS Office Suite required.
  • OSHA or relevant safety certifications (preferred).

  • Fast-paced environment with frequent disruptions or challenges
  • Office-based with frequent visits to project sites and client locations.
  • Must be able to work extended hours as needed to meet project or service demands.
  • Travel within the branch territory required - Eastern Washington, Northern Idaho, Western and Central Montana
