Moda Operandi is seeking a Brand Operations Assistant to be the cross functional point person between warehouse, planning, merchandising, marketing, accounts payable, customer care etc. focusing on order confirmations, receipts, discrepancies, inventory and returns.
This is a hybrid role with 1 day a week (Wednesday) in our Brooklyn, New York office required.
Primary Responsibilities Include
Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year + Discretionary Bonus

This is a hybrid role with 1 day a week (Wednesday) in our Brooklyn, New York office required.
Primary Responsibilities Include
- Provide cross functional support regarding deliveries, discrepancies, inventory, returns and other merchandise operations related functions
- Liaise effectively and expediently with brand partners
- Review order confirmations and send comments to brands in a timely manner
- Reach out to brands regarding delivery of goods
- Reach out to brands regarding discrepancies (short shipment, over shipped, incorrect item, etc.)
- Reach out to brands regarding GTIN codes
- Complete any Returns to Brands in a timely manner
- Notify the Customer Care Team of brand issues, delays, updates etc.
- Have a strong understanding of the needs of the Moda Operandi customer
- Role model our Company Values
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 1 or more years experience in similar role helpful but not necessary
- Experience with NetSuite and ZenDesk helpful but not necessary
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft and Google applications required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills required
- Ability to work collaboratively, listen, and value differing perspectives
- Must be self-motivated, flexible and agile
- Composed demeanor and a positive attitude
- Basic understanding of the fashion and luxury goods industry
- Flexible availability to work weekend/holiday rotations during peak periods
Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year + Discretionary Bonus
