Join Our Team as a School Crossing Guard!

Part-Time | $29.72 hourly | 10 hours per week

Looking for a meaningful part-time job where you can make a real difference? The Town of Brookline is hiring School Crossing Guards to help keep our students safe on their way to and from school. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy being outdoors, are reliable, and have strong people skills.

As a Crossing Guard, You'll

  • Safely guide children and families across busy streets
  • Help ensure the smooth flow of pedestrian and vehicle traffic
  • Be a friendly, reassuring presence in your neighborhood

Schedule

  • 10 hours per week: 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the afternoon, Monday through Friday
  • Works during the school year (10 months)

What You Need

  • High school diploma
  • Ability to learn local streets and follow traffic regulations
  • Friendly, dependable, and able to work in all weather conditions
