This Position reports to:

Senior Business Controller

As a Business Financial Analyst, reporting to the Athens, TN Controller, you will be a part of the Electrification - Installation Products (ELIP) Finance/Accounting team mainly supporting the Athens, TN site. You will be responsible to perform support activities within General Accounting, Financial Analysis, Reporting & Consolidation in line with defined strategies, policies and procedures.

This role will work hybrid in the Athens, TN facility.

Main responsibilities include:

• Ensuring timely and efficient communication with Controller and the Finance/Accounting team to identify and discuss issues and suggestions for improvement
• Month-end activities to include (but not limited to): account analyses, account reconciliations, journal entry creation, account reviews, inventory analyses, balance sheet reconciliations
• Helping to prepare financial reporting, business planning, budgeting, forecasting documents and presentations
• Financial compliance reporting to include monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews
  
  

Qualifications for the role:

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business administration with 5+ years of experience in an accounting or financial analyst role
• Experience with computerized accounting systems and financial reporting software, including Oracle, SAP, ERP or related financial systems.
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with other Microsoft Office products
• Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
• Manufacturing accounting experience required
• Candidates must have prior authorization to work in the United States

Manufacturing includes made-to-stock and custom-made solutions.
