We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst with experience in data quality, clean up, preparation, and integration to provide direct support to our government customers in a dynamic environment. In this role, you will be responsible for data cleaning and preparation for a transition into ServiceNow. You will have the opportunity to collaborate in a cross functional team environment with technical and non-technical stakeholders which will require strong communication skills. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, professional, and capable of managing their workload and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Perform data cleaning and preparation of missing, inconsistent, and duplicate data for a transition to ServiceNow
• Building or maintaining ETL pipelines for data integration.
• Data Profiling & Quality Assessment
• Exposure to machine learning or statistical methods (helpful for anomaly detection and automation).
• Problem Solving & Root Cause Analysis in data pipelines
• Diagnose issues in data pipelines and inconsistencies across systems.
• Data Modeling & Metadata Management
• Documentation of processes, data dictionaries, transformation logic, and decisions made during cleaning for reproducibility.
  
  
  

Required

• BS or BA degree
• 3 years of related experience
• Experience with building/maintaining ETL pipelines
• Experience with SQL for querying and transforming data
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
  
  
  

Desired

• Knowledge of validation frameworks
• Familiarity with machine learning or statistical models
• Experience with Python or R for data manipulation (especially pandas, numpy, pyjanitor, or dplyr).
• Familiarity with Apache Airflow, dbt, or custom scripts for integration data sources
• Understanding of data lineage, dimensional modeling, and business glossary design.
