Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Mon - Fri

Pay: $26+ hr, Depending on Experience

This is a remote position. Preference will be given to applicants who live in Utah.

Your Purpose Will Be

The person in this position is responsible for the analysis of new business system development, and existing system improvement. They will implement computer system requirements by defining and analyzing system problems, designing, and testing standards and solutions. They will work closely with Project Management, Information Systems, and their assigned business units to ensure new & existing systems are researched, implemented, and successful. They will ensure current programs are used optimally by understanding the detailed needs of the business units they partner with along with providing technical knowledge and advice on how to overcome technological and efficiency roadblocks. What You’ll Do

  • Work with Digital Service Managers to deliver pre-defined roadmap initiatives.
  • Implements computer system requirements by defining and analyzing system problems, designing, and testing standards and solutions.
  • Work with Server, Network, and other System Administrators to resolve issues as needed.
  • Interact with all levels of team members to understand information requirements and provide solutions.
  • Works with vendors to achieve support issues and enhancements.
  • Develop solutions by preparing and evaluating alternative workflows.
  • Defines application problems by conferring with clients, business units, and evaluating procedures and processes.
  • Writing procedures for knowledge base.
  • Allocates team resources and monitors deliverables to ensure members' and staff needs are met successfully and in a timely fashion.
  • Coordinates with other teams to identify and implement new systems to support business functions at an effective cost.
  • Ensure current systems are used optimally.
  • Evaluates business systems and user needs.
  • Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Gathers business requirements, defines project scope, aligns objectives with overall business strategies.
  • Review vendor contracts and statements of work to ensure business systems are fully implemented. Research programs and systems based on project charters or requests.
  • Influence the intake process by assessing the value and need of programs and systems both new and existing.
  • Assist in developing KPIs and other ways of measuring the value of existing systems and become fluent with other options.
  • Assist in writing business cases and gathering business requirements.
  • Assist in improving legacy procedures and processes making them more efficient and effective.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Understands the Bank Secrecy Act and how it is applied.

Requirements

The experience you need to succeed:

  • Three to five years of consumer, commercial, or real estate lending processing/origination experience.
  • Experience in system administration, configuration, and administration is a plus.
  • Familiarity with lending and collection practices and processes with a strong focus on operational and compliance requirements.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • Proficient with standard office business machinery and software with working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • Must be able to successfully navigate, manipulate, and analyze large amounts of data within Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, as work frequently involves contacts requiring considerable discussion of problems, material presentations, and resolving issues impacting departments or divisions.

  • Able to prioritize numerous tasks with great attention to detail and demonstrate sound and prudent decision making, ethics, and professionalism.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Works primarily in a remote office environment. (Hybrid or work from home employees must be able to report in office if required.)
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly need to: see, talk, hear, and perform repetitive movements with arms, hands and fingers to handle, feel, grasp and reach. A computer, phone -a smart phone, and standard office equipment are normal tools for this position. Specific vision abilities that may be required by this job include close vision and distance vision. The employee may at times also need to: climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
