accessAbilities, a local Homecare agency, is immediately hiring Caregivers to assist individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities in Mount Washington, PA.

Caregivers (IDD Attendants) support disabled adults with household duties and personal care services.  

Household duties include: assisting with laundry, housekeeping, shopping,      preparing meals, and running errands. 

Personal care services include: assisting special needs clients with transfers       from/to bed, bathing, dressing, grooming and assisting with personal support     equipment such as wheelchairs, manual/electric lifts, and leg braces, etc.

 Position Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older


• Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull up to 40 lbs. without assistance and up to 200 lbs. with assistance (hoyer lift)


• Valid driver’s license/auto insurance


• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances

Preferred:

• High School Diploma or GED


• Previous experience as an Aide, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide or Direct Support Professional


• Prior experience with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities
