We are seeking a skilled Cash Analyst to join our finance team and play a pivotal role in managing our company's cash flow operations. As a Cash Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing our organization's cash flow, ensuring efficient cash management. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of financial principles and cash management practices.
Responsibilities:
- Track and analyze daily cash flow activities, including cash receipts, disbursements, and liquidity positions.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and potential risks in cash flow patterns, investigating and resolving discrepancies as needed.
- Conduct variance analysis to compare actual cash flow against budgeted forecasts, providing insights into deviations and recommending corrective actions.
- Oversee daily cash management activities, including cash positioning, funding, and transfer activities.
- Execute cash transactions, initiate wire transfers, and monitor the timely processing of payments.
- Prepare regular financial reports related to cash flow.
- Generate ad-hoc financial analyses and reports to support decision-making processes and provide actionable recommendations.
- Identify potential risks associated with cash flow and liquidity management and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices related to cash management and treasury operations.
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cash Analyst or similar role, with a focus on cash flow management and financial analysis.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles and cash management practices.
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools, cash management systems, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis, modeling, and forecasting.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to draw actionable insights from complex financial data.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of risk management and experience in implementing internal controls.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance related to cash management and treasury operations.
