Qualifications and requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of Accredited Medical Assistant Program or equivalent required.

  • Current Washington CCMA, CMA, or RMA certification via AAMA or NHA. must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certificate or obtained within 30 days of hire.
  • Require critical thinking skills, decisive judgement, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
  • works under the supervision of a Physician or Nurse, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments.
  • Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition.
  • Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
  • Maintains examination areas.
  • Assists with keeping patient rooms and common areas stocked, clean, and orderly.
