The Role

We’re hiring a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to lead and integrate all revenue-driving functions. You’ll own the demand forecast and be accountable for Contribution Margin, Net Income, and Free Cash Flow. This role is about driving profitable growth, not just top-line revenue.

You’ll oversee performance marketing, retention, e-commerce, creative, integrated partnerships, and brand strategy—managing the performance (not execution) of channels like Meta, Google, Linear TV, Amazon, and Audio. That includes working with agency partners and leading an in-house team of experienced directors and managers.

This is a true leadership role focused on strategic clarity, structure, and results. You’ll align every demand-side function under a unified commercial strategy and collaborate closely with our COO to ensure the business scales efficiently. This role reports directly to two co-founders and sits on the executive team.

What You’ll Own

  • Full ownership of the demand forecast—Contribution Margin, MER, aMER, CAC, LTV, AOV, CVR, RPS, etc —with a strategic focus on connecting it to the financial model in partnership with the Controller to drive Free Cash Flow optimization. If these acronyms aren’t second nature to you, this role isn’t the right fit.
  • Accountability for channel performance: Meta, Google, Linear TV, Amazon, Audio, email/SMS, partnerships, affiliate
  • Accountability for all demand-side functions—internal teams, external partners, and business outcomes
  • Oversight of the marketing org (growth, retention, creative), with an eye on structure, performance, and key hires
  • Channel mix optimization, balancing short-term ROI and long-term brand equity
  • Customer segmentation, cohort strategy, and retention playbooks
  • Strategic input on pricing, promotions, product launches, and merchandising
  • Cross-functional alignment with finance, ops, and CX for efficient scaling
  • Development of partnerships, brand collaborations, and corporate gifting programs

In 90 Days

  • You’ve taken full ownership of the forecast and driven 1–2 meaningful improvements
  • You’ve developed a clear POV on what’s working, what’s not, and where the biggest opportunities lie
  • Teams and partners are aligned under your leadership with clear direction and accountability
  • You’ve begun aligning creative and media teams around shared KPIs and testing roadmaps

In 1 Year

  • Contribution Margin is growing, ad spend is more efficient, and cash flow is stronger
  • The marketing org is stronger and more effective
  • You’ve sharpened our messaging and brand voice while improving performance
  • You fully own the commercial outcomes: profitable growth, healthy margins, and strong Free Cash Flow
  • You’re seen as a long-term leader inside the company—respected, trusted, and invested in the mission

Who You Are

  • Fast-moving, accountable, and comfortable owning outcomes in a founder-led environment
  • A strategic commercial leader with deep knowledge of performance marketing, customer economics, and brand
  • Hands-on experience with Meta, Google, attribution tools, and media buying at scale
  • Comfortable analyzing CAC, LTV, blended ROAS, and tying them to margin and cash flow
  • Equally fluent in data and storytelling—able to blend analytics with instinct to make smart decisions
  • A strong people leader with experience building and scaling high-performing teams
  • Mission-driven—you care about what Allegiance stands for and want to build something meaningful

Experience We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years in marketing, growth, or commercial leadership roles in DTC, e-commerce, or consumer brands
  • Proven success owning a commercial P&L or Contribution Margin forecast
  • Experience managing multi-channel teams and agency partners
  • Ideally helped scale a brand from $50M to $1000M+ (or similar trajectory)
  • Track record of balancing strategy and execution—knows when to zoom in and when to zoom out
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth, founder-led environments
