MDP is a dynamic organization committed to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. As a member of our Executive Leadership Team, the Chief People Officer (CPO) will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our people strategies to align with our organizational goals.

Position Overview

The Chief People Officer serves as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, responsible for developing and implementing MDP's vision for people strategies and Employee Value Proposition. The CPO acts as the organizational culture champion, providing strategic and tactical direction to Human Resources, Benefits and Compensation, Doctor Recruitment, and Learning and Development functions. This role is crucial in driving talent acquisition and retention, team member engagement, talent and succession planning, diversity, organizational learning, and performance management. The CPO ensures that company infrastructure, systems, and practices are consistent with MDP guidelines and compliant with all federal, state, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive culture and people strategies, effectively communicating goals and objectives to ensure understanding and success at all levels of the company.
  • Compensation and Performance Management: Design and continually improve compensation and performance management strategies to align behaviors and drive achievement of strategic initiatives.
  • Talent Acquisition and Retention: Create strategic talent acquisition and retention plans to meet current and future human capital needs.
  • Team Development: Lead and motivate a high-performing management team; attract, recruit, and retain leadership talent for operational functions; provide mentoring and professional development opportunities.
  • Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure company infrastructure and all systems and practices are consistent with MDP guidelines and compliant with all federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Human Resources leadership roles.
  • Experience in the dental or healthcare industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Google Suites.
  • Any offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, including a drug screen.
