Provides general nursing care to patients in a clinic or medical office setting.

Administers medications, prepares equipment, and assists physicians/healthcare providers with patient treatment.

Utilizes the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—for assigned patients.

Addresses psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.

Monitors medication effects and side-effects, documents patient history, symptoms, and care provided.

Assesses learning needs and educates patients, families, and caregivers.

Requirements include graduation from an RN program (Bachelorâ€s degree preferred), excellent communication skills, and clinical experience of 6 to 12 months.

Must hold an active RN license and BLS certification. Full-time position.
