THE ROLE

The Client & Sales Engagement Associate under the direction of the Manager will be responsible for coordinating logistics relative to client and sales related activities, including managing the production of appropriate and accurate marketing materials, across business streams and territories. This involves factoring applicable contractual information, regulatory environment, compliance and business rules.

The Client & Sales Engagement Associate will seek direction from the Client & Sales Engagement Sr Supervisor to start to develop their understanding of MFS products and vehicles to effectively assist in sales and relationship management efforts. The Client & Sales Engagement Associate will enhance prospect and client relationships by providing outstanding service.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Under the direction of Team Lead/Sr Supervisor work as part of the team to develop relationships to become the primary contact for Sales and Relationship Management personnel within assigned territory, including coverage for both local and satellite offices. Help coordinate all details, logistics and materials related to client, prospect and due diligence meetings. Coordinate the content creation process via project management of partner teams, ensuring that relevant production specialists are working to correct deadlines, following compliance and brand parameters.

  • Develop technical knowledge of the CRM database which is a central resource to maintain and track all appropriate contacts and activities within assigned territory. Generate regular and custom reports as necessary. Work alongside internal stakeholders to establish and maintain client reporting deliverables via reporting systems and support client inquiries. Initiate client reporting requests in customized formats; Research data discrepancies with the Client & Sales Engagement Specialists and/or Senior Specialists of other internal departments to ensure satisfaction and a high level of service.

  • Under the direction of the Sales and Relationship Management personnel, produce and distribute accurate, compliant presentations for the full spectrum of MFS products. With support from line manager, determining the urgency of the request and ensuring satisfaction with service level received. Assist in preparation for client meetings including providing a status of relationship and update on completed ongoing matters and finalize materials. Interact with clients when appropriate and take the lead on any follow-through on all problem resolution and information requests associated with the meetings. May participate in meetings at MFS or at external sites as appropriate.

  • Dependent upon business steam, work alongside Marketing Managers, Event Planners and Distribution team to support the planning and execution of industry events and roadshows , within departmental budget.

  • Interface with internal and external contacts including investment teams and management in order to fulfill job requirements. Under the direction of the manager works in close coordination with the wider team to build confidence in how to influence decisions of senior leadership, Managing Directors and business partners across Distribution as it pertains to the production and usage of marketing materials. Start to build professional working relationships to become a trusted partner.

  • Follows established processes and procedures relative to the support of Sales and Relationship Management functions. Communicates issues or trends to manager regarding workflow, operational, or compliance matters that arise in course of job responsibilities.

  • Under the direction of the manager develops the ability to field inquiries from the Sales and Relationship Management team s, properly assessing their needs and directing them to a solution. With supervision d etermines the urgency of requests and advises on the appropriate information to send to the sales prospect or client, ensure satisfaction with service level received.

  • Assist other teams within the department and perform additional duties as requested by manager.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Degree or equivalent education or experience.

  • 0-1+ years professional experience in a related environment.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English.

  • Proven ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously with great attention to detail and to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Demonstrated fluency in Microsoft Office suite applications.

PREFERRED SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Depending on business stream and territory, fluency in additional language may be required.

REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • US position requires FINRA Series 6 and 63 registrations in accordance with MFS licensing policy.


Base Salary Range: $55,500.00 - $80,500.00

This position is eligible for competitive incentive bonus.
