Work diligently to accommodate guest request, manage group room blocks and reservations. Updates and maintains the reservation system, concentrates efforts on group market.
Experience Prior experience in sales or hotel operations in an upscale full service hotel environment.

- Create and Monitor group blocks and cut off dates and communicate with Sales Managers via weekly Group Rooms meeting/Billing meeting and scheduled reports including but not limited to cut-off and pick up reports
- Process Group Booking Recaps, group reservations, any revisions, and group rooming lists
- Maintain regular contact with other departments to convey necessary information
- Proactively analyses results of all performance and identifies trends and improvement opportunities
- Implements effective and innovative solutions that result in significant operational improvement and financial benefits
- Implements and supports the company’s sales techniques, marketing and revenue management strategies
- Ensure coding on all reservations is correct.
- Work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel as necessary
- Assist team in responding to billing questions
- Assist Revenue Management to ensure proper processes are being followed in Group Sales and Front office to maximize revenue opportunities
- Work with Revenue Management to identify and execute opportunities in revenue management strategies
- Attends on property meetings, included but not limited to Precons, resume meeting, staff, etc
- Uses passkey as source to work with clients on rooming/billing needs
- Manage the process of group reservation requests through Passkey & change log
- As part of group sales turnover process, create Personalized Online Group (POG) reservation page for Group and send meeting planner link once complete
- Point of contact for initial rooming list and ongoing group rooming list changes as assigned by Director of Group Sales.
- Upon review of Group Resumes, reconcile group reservations to ensure accuracy (correct billing, upgrade to premium room types, VIPs, etc) in system.
