Position: Construction Superintendent
Location: Austin, Texas
Job Description
OGH Development, LLC (“OGH”), a Denton based real-estate development company, provides commercial construction
consulting and turn-key service solutions throughout Texas, with primary focus in the Austin and DFW areas.
OGH develops raw land and builds new “ground up” commercial properties, including medical, multi-use real estate and retail
centers, as well as making renovations, modifications, and/or expansions to existing properties.
As the company continues to grow, OGH is seeking new talent for its team. OGH is currently looking for a talented commercial
ground-up superintendent, with a minimum of 10 years’ commercial experience in multi-story building. OGH will only consider
those applicants with the minimum specified experience.
Construction superintendents are responsible for the daily operations of an assigned construction project, from pre
construction through substantial completion. Duties will vary depending on the type of project. Tasks include procurement,
scheduling, subcontractor agreement preparation, daily on-site supervision of subcontractors, daily reports, progress tracking,
management of on-site consultants and vendors, quality control and quality assurance, accountability for all divisional costs,
knowledge, understanding and management of cost accounting and P&L, assisting the senior construction manager on
estimating, monitoring site safety and SWWPP programs.
This Position also requires a minimum of 10 years’ ground-up commercial construction experience. Applicants must also have
financial construction management experience.

Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years’ commercial construction experience
- Experience will all Microsoft software programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Power point, Micro Project,
- Ability to write detailed daily tracking logs.
- Must be able to draft professional correspondence to vendors, subcontractors, government, municipal officials,
- Strong understanding of blueprints, construction documents, contracts, legal terminology.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Must have strong cost management and execution skills.
- Understanding of ABC/UBC/NEC/FPA codes and compliance.
- Ability to estimate and submit costs estimates to upper mgmt./ owners.
- Experience in dealing with city municipalities, owners, and investors.
- Travel within Texas may be required.
