What Will You Do?

We’re looking for a Contract Recruiter with high-volume recruiting experience and the drive to match. You’ll own full-cycle hiring for our field crews—skilled construction and geotechnical workers who travel from site to site to execute emergency repairs. This is not a deskbound recruiting role—it’s boots-on-the-ground talent acquisition where time-to-fill, hiring velocity, and quality of hire are everything.

You’ll operate in a class-based, weekly hiring rhythm with constant demand planning, strong referral traffic, and shifting priorities. If you love high-output recruiting, thrive in a fast-moving environment, and are wired to deliver results you’ll fit right in.

Responsibilities

Recruiting Execution

  • Manage 10–20+ open requisitions at a time for crew-level hiring (traveling construction professionals)
  • Drive weekly hiring cadences by screening, presenting, and closing top candidates at scale
  • Stay two steps ahead of hiring needs by actively planning 30–60 days out with field leadership

Candidate Sourcing & Engagement

  • Rapidly screen inbound applicants and mine referrals for top-tier, job-ready talent
  • Tap into grassroots and local sourcing strategies across dozens of geographic markets
  • Leverage iCIMS to track candidates, build pipelines, and document outreach and activity

Candidate Experience & Selection

  • Be a trusted, professional representative of GSI—we don’t ghost
  • Guide candidates through an efficient, clear process with proactive communication at every stage
  • Debrief with hiring teams quickly and push for same-day offer when possible

Onboarding Support

  • Keep new hires warm and engaged through their start date
  • Ensure smooth handoffs to onboarding and orientation teams

Qualifications

What It Takes to Succeed:

  • 2+ years of high-volume recruiting experience, preferably in skilled trades, construction, field services, or manufacturing
  • Strong instincts for screening for technical fit, grit, and cultural alignment
  • Proven ability to hit hiring metrics (time-to-fill, candidate quality, retention)
  • High-energy, resourceful, and unflappable under pressure
  • Tech-savvy with applicant tracking systems (iCIMS experience a plus)
  • Experience in grassroots sourcing, referral programs, or recruitment marketing preferred
  • Able to work on-site in Westminster, CO (T/W/Th), remote M/F
