What does this role look like?

Responsible for supervision of team of contract professionals working within NSS Contracts. Responsibilities include but are not limited to coordination and assignment of contract efforts, employee recruitment and training, negotiations, customer engagement, and overall review and management of contracts team. This role will perform contracts management functions across the spectrum of Lockheed internal and external teams, from capture through proposal, contract award, and all phases of contract administration. Individual will be a strategic partner to the program, helping to provide business advice and guidance to the team in addition to coordinating with other functions including program management, finance, legal, subcontracts, business development, engineering, human resources, accounting, and compliance. Candidate will manage multiple responsibilities, including contract solicitations / capture, negotiations, contract terms, including fulfillment of related obligations. They will monitor IP Data rights and serve as authorized, empowered representative for the Company as interface with Customer. Responsible for building effective relationships with both internal and external customers, and managing contracts to support business goals and objectives. This role will ensure contractual compliance with all laws and regulations, and adherence to Delegation of Authority and approval requirements for proposals and contractual actions. Lead and support audits, as appropriate, with internal and external audit teams and agencies to support contract-related activities and verify compliance. Ensure final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations.
