The Core Systems Administrator (CSA) assists with applying systems analysis techniques and procedures, including end-user and vendor consultation to determine hardware, software, and system functional specifications for a variety of initiatives. Help with primary support for the core system and other interconnected systems and applications. Develop project plans and implement projects as directed. The team member utilizes system and organizational knowledge to make decisions to facilitate problem resolution. And may also serve as a lead for special projects.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure that work results and processes comply with relevant laws and with established NIHFCU policies, procedures, and practices, including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).Attend all required training or complete and pass all online required training courses as applicable.
Salary Ranges: $78,536.16 to $98,170.20 ; Exempt position.

The Core Systems Administrator (CSA) assists with applying systems analysis techniques and procedures, including end-user and vendor consultation to determine hardware, software, and system functional specifications for a variety of initiatives. Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure the integrity of the core system database by monitoring posting reports for accuracy and maintenance of various processing logs. Postings include but are not limited to credit cards, checks, loan transfers, statements, insurance, and dividends.
- Support the daily and monthly operations on the KeyStone. Task includes but is not limited to ACH, share draft, notices, statements, yearly tax processing, Ad Hoc reports, data file transmission, and KeyStone-related problems.
- Provide tier 1 & 2 help desk support for client core system-related hardware and software applications
- Serve as a member of the Disaster Recovery Team. Duties include revising contingency plans, preparation, and maintenance of the hot site, facilitation of all tests, as well as other related business continuity tasks.
- Research and respond to internal inquiries and provide support for mission-critical hardware, software, and applications. Responsible for monitoring various systems for error conditions requiring resolutions.
- Works closely with all levels of management and team staff in all departments to identify, and assist end-users in meeting corporate business objectives
- Develops and administers project plans as assigned.
- Provide tier 1 & 2 help desk support as necessary.
- Required to work either on-site or remotely outside of normal work hours to meet processing schedules and to execute maintenance and upgrades of mission-critical systems and hardware. Consider it as around-the-clock support.
- Other duties, responsibilities, and job functions as assigned.
- Required- A minimum of five (5) years of experience working with various functions of operating client-server technology and peripheral equipment in an operations center.
- Knowledge of data processing procedures and familiarity with financial institution operations.
- Required - A minimum of three (3) years SQL (RazorSQL) experience and Microsoft SQL Management Studio.
- Experience with Jaspersoft and Corelation Keystone is required.
- PC skills should include strong hardware and software knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems.
- Familiarity with project planning methodology.
