SUMMARY:

We are seeking a motivated Corporate Recruiter to source, screen, and successfully hire top talent for our company. This role involves developing recruitment strategies, building relationships with industry professionals, and ensuring a smooth hiring process for candidates to meet staffing needs of the company.

SUPERVISION EXERCISED/RECEIVED:

Immediate Supervisor: Recruiting Manager

Direct Supervisory Responsibility: None

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:

  • Talent Sourcing & Recruitment
    • Identify and attract qualified geotechnical engineers, geologists, technicians, and admin through various channels (job boards, networking, referrals, LinkedIn, etc.)
    • Utilize Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to manage and communicate with potential candidates
    • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for current and future hiring needs
    • Conduct initial screenings and assessments to ensure candidates meet job requirements
    • Coordinate and schedule screening calls, interviews, follow-ups, and feedback sessions
    • Ensure timely communication and updates to and from the candidates throughout the hiring process
    • Maintain detailed candidate records and hiring data to track your recruitment effectiveness
  • Process & Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with hiring policies, industry regulations, and employment laws
    • Stay updated on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and hiring best practices
  • Networking & Branding
    • Representing the company at industry events and career fairs
    • Utilize company branding and marketing material to attract top talent in our field
    • Utilize social media and other platforms to engage with potential candidates
  • Other job duties may be assigned as needed
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: 1+ years in a similar position; sourcing experience and heavy phone use/customer service experience highly preferred

QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES):

  • Good typing skills, attention to detail, and accurate data entry abilities
  • Knowledge and ability to use computer applications and other office equipment
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic mathematical applications
  • Knowledge and ability to heavily operate phones during candidate screening
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and follow directions
  • Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures for recruiting processes
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in an organized manner
  • Ability to work with and maintain confidential information
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment as a member of a team

Pay Range

$20—$23 USD
