What You'll Do
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and loan application documentation
- Assess client creditworthiness using established risk assessment frameworks
- Prepare detailed credit memos and present findings to senior team members
- Calculate financial ratios and evaluate cash flow patterns
- Verify application information and conduct background research
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify potential risk factors
- Collaborate with lending officers to develop appropriate credit solutions
- Stay current with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to interpret financial statements and tax returns
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial concepts
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Previous experience in financial services or related field preferred but not required
