Job Function
Keep buildings clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish/trash. Duties may include performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of the need of repairs, and cleaning debris/water from sidewalk.
Minimum Job Requirements
Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
Talking to others to convey information effectively.
Ability to determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.
Managing ones own time to ensure all work gets completed daily.

Minimum Job Requirements
- Read, write and speak English and Spanish
- Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
- Possess a valid drivers license.
- Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.
- Service, cleaning and supply restrooms.
- Gather and empty trash.
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
- Strip, seal, finish and polish floors.
- Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
- Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges and squeegees.
- Operate a lawn mower and weed eater.
- Other duties as assigned.
