The average pay mentioned includes base wages for the average hours scheduled and average incentive compensation for this role over a twelve-month period. Please note that these figures are estimates and not guarantees of any specific hourly wage or incentive compensation As a Customer Account Advisor at Aaron’s, your role is to serve as a coach to our customers. You will be responsible for driving payment collections and lease agreement renewals by understanding the benefits of the lease agreement and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will build relationships with our customers over the phone and in-person, helping them move closer to ownership of the product To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills: - Ability to connect and relate well to people from all walks of life - Empathy and the ability to listen attentively - Clear and simple communication skills - Strong multitasking, organizational, negotiation, and persuasion abilities - Passion for making a difference in the lives of others and building personal connections Your daily responsibilities as a Customer Account Advisor will include: - Managing and updating customers' accounts in our computer system - Contacting customers who have not renewed their lease agreement to discuss options - Selling customers on the benefits of timely lease agreement payments - Assisting the Customer Account Manager in achieving revenue and renewal goals - Handling merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed - Ensuring the quality of returned merchandise - Maintaining vehicle maintenance records and daily route sheets - Safely operating company vehicles - Supporting the Sales Team when needed - Performing other reasonable duties as requested by management Requirements for this role include: - Being at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license (United States) or being at least 18 years old (Canada) - Meeting any applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements for certification (United States) - Ability to work flexible hours ranging from 8 am to 9 pm - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently and up to 300 lbs. with the help of a dolly - Previous retail or customer service experience preferred - High school diploma or equivalent preferred - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - High energy and ability to multitask effectively - Proficiency in using computers - Maintaining a professional appearance - Upholding the values of the Aaron's brand and protecting company assets At Aaron’s, we value our team members and provide them with a range of benefits, including: - Sundays off - Employee assistance program - Employee purchase program with exclusive discounts - Physical and financial well-being programs - Tuition reimbursement - Employee Business Resource Groups - 401(k) plan with contribution matching - Paid time off, including vacation days, sick days, and holidays - Life and disability insurance - Medical, dental, and vision insurance - Paid paternal leave - Stock purchase plans - Pay on Demand Please note that the benefits may vary based on full- or part-time employment status About Aaron’s: At Aaron’s, we offer sales and lease-to-ownership options for specialty items such as furniture, electronics, appliances, and accessories.
