This job contributes to Starbucks success by creating demand plans for the materials used in store construction, renovation, and maintenance. These demand plans ensure that the right product is in the right place at the right time in the right quantities to meet customer demand. This role uses a mix of demand planning systems, excel models, and stakeholder collaboration to develop the best plans to ensure we can open new stores on time and have stock of items for store repairs.

As a demand planner store development,, you will…
- Create demand plans to support the store development business using demand planning tools, and building excel models from construction timelines
- Report forecast accuracy of demand plans, identify root cause, and recommend actions to improve accuracy
- Recommend and implement supply chain processes for improvement
- Present weekly/monthly business results to cross functional team
- Recommend new courses of action to improve overall business results
- Experience in supply and/or demand planning – 3+ years
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with high proficiency in Excel
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing to internal customers
- Ability to communicate changes in demand plans quickly and effectively
- If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
