As a Development Associate, DDC Commercial your roles and responsibilities include:

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist in the development process from due diligence through design, entitlement, financing and construction to project completion
• Research, compile and analyze market information for various real estate development projects
• Participate in the due diligence process and the evaluation of proposed acquisitions
• Effectively network with landowners and brokers to acquire land in the markets we operate – including Ohio, Texas, Florida, Alabama, and Arkansas
• Prepare investment committee briefings and updates
• Develop project budgets, financing needs, and project schedules
• Manage several projects simultaneously and effectively in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
• Create various spreadsheets to capture data and develop reports accordingly
• Network internally with our sister companies by utilizing our talented team of engineers, architects and general contracting personnel to drive our development projects
  
  
  

Position Requirements

• At least 4-6 years of experience in real estate development, land acquisitions, civil engineering or other related fields
• Degree in related fields
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Experience in land development due diligence through project completion
• Able to travel to other offices as needed
