We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician to join our Distribution business in Glen Burnie, MD.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Remove and Replace Aftertreatment
Complete Full Engine Service
Complete - High School and Trade School Cummins/Diesel Program
Max Salary $29
We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician to join our Distribution business in Glen Burnie, MD.
- 2nd Shift, M-F 3:30PM - 12AM
- Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
- Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
- Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
- Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
- Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
- Maintain own tools
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Primarily engaged in maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics
- Requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality
- Demonstrates an understanding on access to engine repair process information sources.
- Understands after-treatment system and can identify major components and their function at a rudimentary level.
- Has worked on external components on a diesel engine and understands the basic concepts.
- Has some knowledge of engine diagnostic software

Complete - High School and Trade School Cummins/Diesel Program
- This position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements. This roll will be subject to on-going random drug and alcohol testing.
- A current valid license is required for this role
- Must be 18 years old with 2 years driving experience
- This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
- A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire
- Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older
