Digital Solutions
The Digital Banking Analyst will play a crucial role in enhancing Valley Strong's digital presence and improving Member engagement. This position involves developing and implementing digital banking strategies to support retail, business banking, treasury, and cash management services. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and enhance digital banking products and services tailored to business clients. Key responsibilities include ensuring seamless integration of digital platforms, analyzing client needs and market trends, providing technical support and training, and monitoring digital banking platforms for optimal performance and security. The role also involves staying updated with industry advancements and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and innovation in digital banking services.

In Digital Application and platform development
Treasury and Cash Management Financial Services highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifiacations
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to Members and other Team Members at the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute dividends and interest.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form.

Essential Duties
- Develop and implement digital banking strategies to support retail, business banking, treasury, and cash management services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and enhance digital banking products and services tailored to business clients.
- Ensure seamless integration of digital platforms for treasury and cash management operations, improving efficiency and accuracy.
- Analyze client needs and market trends to recommend new features and improvements for digital banking solutions.
- Provide technical support and training to business clients on digital banking tools and applications.
- Monitor and manage digital banking platforms to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Stay updated with industry advancements and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and innovation in digital banking services.
- Designs, builds, tests, implements, and maintains digital and enterprise applications
- Designs – under limited supervision and in collaboration with others, defines requirements, creates prototypes, refines tests and testing criteria, and plans development of applications and interfaces.
- Tests – performs unit, integration, system, and acceptance testing of work product.
- Implements – develops, shares, finalizes, and executes plans for the deployment, validation, and possible rollback of work product.
- Maintains – monitors performance of deployed work product, proposes improvements for work product backlog, and documents feature, or platform upgrades as needed to stay current with surrounding or affected platforms and solutions.
- Upskills – reviews and studies documentation and training materials for the applications, systems, platforms, languages, technologies, and processes utilized by Valley Strong Credit Union.
- Advocates – analyzes requests, as well as existing applications and processes, to find better and best solutions to problems, balancing immediate needs with the strategic direction of our digital roadmap.
- Teaches – educates others on the development team(s) and business partners in the use of systems and applications.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Credit Union specific systems and development experience highly preferred
- Jack Henry Symitar specific development work highly preferred (SymXchange, SymConnect, PowerOn, etc.)
- Certifications in programming languages or frameworks (PowerOn, Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, SQL, PowerShell, etc) highly desired
- Experience in designing and maintaining relational database management systems
- Training in software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, SDLC, etc) preferred
- Strong understanding of digital banking technologies, platforms, and applications (Alkami, Q2, Lumin)
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful digital banking strategies for Treasury and Cash Management products.
