Job Title: Digital Publicity Assistant

Location: Universal City, CA (Hybrid)

Type: 1-Year Contract (W2)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of work experience

• Bachelor’s Degree (degree in media, journalism or communications is preferred)

• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work as part of a team and independently on assigned projects

• Motivated self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is skilled at multi-tasking

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to digital publicity team throughout film campaign, including but not limited to creating campaign recaps, pitching press coverage for upcoming events, giveaways and movie previews

• Assists in campaign related events including special screenings, press days and premieres

• Create promotional assets including screening invitations and trailer blasts and send communications out to journalists and influencers

• Spearhead all word-of-mouth screening logistics including confirming screening room, outreach to guests and ensuring all guests are checked in day of

• Research niche publications when appropriate for campaigns and spearhead outreach to those outlets

• Assists in prizing fulfillment for sweeps winners including packaging items and ensure winners’ receipt of the product

• Coordinate and schedule meetings and reconcile vendor invoices amongst other administrative duties as required

• Maintain master list of press and influencer contacts and make update as needed

• Participate in campaign brainstorming sessions & meetings with agencies

• Stay current on the latest trends and best practices in social media and digital marketing

Special Instructions:

• Candidate should be comfortable working with creative software such as Photoshop

• Interest in media and entertainment is preferred

• Should be up to date on current pop culture and trending topics
