A Day in the Life as the Marketing Director
Are you a bold, strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand building? Do you thrive on turning ideas into impactful campaigns that move the needle? We’re looking for a Director of Marketing Communications to lead the charge in elevating Girbau North America’s voice across markets. In this high-impact role, you’ll shape our brand, engage customers, and drive growth through smart, creative, and data-driven marketing strategies. If you're a hands-on leader who loves rolling up your sleeves just as much as setting big-picture direction, we want to hear from you!
As our Marketing Director, you will serve as a senior leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of marketing and communications, with a strong focus on brand building, increasing market awareness, driving customer engagement, and supporting sales efforts to achieve organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead the development and execution of the company’s overall marketing strategy.
- Build and maintain a strong, consistent brand presence across all platforms.
- Oversee content creation, digital marketing, PR, social media, and internal/external communications.
- Guide marketing efforts for new product introductions and campaigns.
- Manage marketing budgets, KPIs, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with Sales and Executive Leadership to align marketing with business goals.
- Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing marketing team.
- Participate in executive-level planning and strategic initiatives.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing and communications leadership.
- Strong background in digital marketing, branding, and content strategy.
- Experience managing teams, budgets, and cross-functional projects.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office; CMS and web/UX knowledge a plus.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills..
- Ability to travel up to 30%.
