Role Value Proposition:

The Director, Strategy and Planning, reporting to the VP of Global Hosting and Network Technology is responsible for supporting the design and execution of the strategic roadmap of the Global Hosting and Network organization. This role spans across Planning, Governance, Vendor oversight, critical program delivery, as well as activities that support a variety of strategic & operational initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to partner closely with senior leaders across Global Infrastructure, Global Technology, and the enterprise to help ensure business plans and objectives are tracked and reported accordingly .

Success in this highly visible role requires the ability to think big, influence, and ensure execution to continue to transform the organization. You’ll collaborate closely with leaders across the Global Hosting and Network Organization as well as other S&P leads in an environment where every contribution is respected, and every perspective is heard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and execute the high-level strategic plan, governance and reporting for the organization, continuously aligning strategies, and initiatives with broader functions.
• Create internal frameworks to measure business plan objectives and ensure targets and timelines are tracked and met.
• Coordinates with key stakeholders in advance of meetings to set agendas and clarify/align objectives including internal staff meetings (e.g., Town Halls, Senior Leadership Team, extended leadership meetings, workforce planning).
• Prepares agenda, reports and/or presentations for senior level management and operational review meetings.
• Leads a team responsible for Risk and Compliance, Process Improvement, Finance, and Vendor Governance.
• Culture Steward responsible for driving activities that fuel high engagement and innovation across the organization.
• Influences leadership and builds collaborative partnerships and alliances to achieve shared goals.
• Coordinates with the Global Infrastructure Chief of Staff and other S&P leads to drive the transformation across GI in a collaborative effort.
  
  
  

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Required:

• 7 + years of experience in Technology or Planning function.
• Proven ability to build as well as drive strategy execution.
• Strong Influencing skills and ability to manage change.
• Innovative mindset with a track record of problem solving and solutions delivery.
• 3+ years of managing a team.
  
  
  

Preferred:

• Suggested 5+ of years of experience in a Global Organizational setting
• BS/BA Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Strong people leadership skills, with an ability to lead through transformation and change.
• Ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
