Looking for a fun, entry-level job where you can work with a great team and make a real difference? The Rehabilitation Center of Independence, a skilled nursing facility dedicated to quality senior care, is hiring Dishwashers / Kitchen Aides to join our friendly dietary team.
What You'll Do:
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans by hand or using a commercial dishwasher
- Keep the kitchen and dish area clean, organized, and safe
- Dispose of trash and recycling properly
- Sweep, mop, and sanitize kitchen floors and surfaces
- Assist with basic food prep or meal tray assembly when needed
- Follow all food safety and infection control protocols
- High school diploma or GED preferred (not required)
- No experience necessary - we will train the right candidate!
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions
- Good teamwork, communication, and time management skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards is a plus
