Drafting Checker will collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and drafters to verify design intent and compliance with project requirements.

Position Summary
Drafting Checker will collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and drafters to verify design intent and compliance with project requirements.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Review and check engineering drawings and designs for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to drafting standards.
- Verify dimensions, tolerances, material specifications, and assembly instructions.
- Ensure compliance with industry codes, company standards, and customer requirements.
- Identify and document drawing discrepancies and communicate feedback to designers and engineers.
- Collaborate with design teams to resolve errors and improve design processes.
- Maintain drawing documentation and ensure proper version control.
- Assist in developing and updating drafting guidelines and best practices.
- This position will report to the Dallas/Ft. Worth TX office location.
- 20 years or more experience in detailing/checking.
- Associate degree or diploma in Drafting, Engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
