Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical components of manufacturing equipment including motors, sensors, drives, and controls.
- Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to minimize unplanned downtime.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions using multimeters, schematics, PLC interfaces, and diagnostic tools.
- Work on pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical systems.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and safety improvements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and complete work orders using the company’s CMMS.
- Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and performance.
- High school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial maintenance role.
- Solid understanding of AC/DC motors, electrical panels, sensors, relays, and mechanical components.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints.
- Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) a plus.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple priorities.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime, including weekends if needed.
- Bilingual – English and Spanish preferred.
- Experience with CMMS systems; eMaint experience a plus.
- Knowledge of robotic or automated equipment maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and use of hand tools.
- Exposure to loud noise, heat/cold, and industrial environments.
- Use of PPE (personal protective equipment) as required.
