About The Team
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Employee Communications, the Senior Employee Communications Strategist will connect employees to our business strategy and drive engagement through strategic, inspiring and impactful communications for the EPIC (Engineering, Product, Innovation and Cloud) organization.
About The Role
This role involves developing and executing comprehensive communication plans for senior leadership within the EPIC organization including executive memos, high-impact strategic organizational announcements, newsletter articles, and support for town halls. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, organized professional with exceptional writing, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of learning quickly and excelling in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

The pay range for this position is $99,800 to $143,450, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. About The Team

About The Role

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement strategic internal communication plans tailored to engage a global employee base, with a specific focus on the Engineering and Product organizations.
- Write compelling business communications, including announcements and articles, that effectively convey key messages, demonstrate business impact, and clearly outline how employees can contribute to achieving strategic objectives.
- Champion and support special projects and initiatives that drive employee engagement.
- Manage high-impact internal activities at UKG, such as town halls and other presentations ensuring that our employees are informed, engaged, and connected.
- Maintain strong partnerships with Chiefs of Staff, HR Business Partners, and Communications and Enablement teams to align and execute impactful organizational change and communication initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Possess an appropriate bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
- Seasoned Communicator: Minimum of 7+ years of experience writing internal communications and implementing strategic internal communication campaigns.
- Demonstrated experience or understanding communications strategies and logistics involved in supporting employee town hall meetings or similar large-scale internal events.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with both Mac and PC platforms is preferred, as well as proficiency in communication technology tools such as SharePoint, Canva, and Adobe Photoshop.
- Mastery of Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is essential.
- 1+ years of experience in supporting executive internal communications.
- Collaborative Spirit: A strong team player who actively seeks input, welcomes feedback, and offers to help to colleagues proactively.
- Meticulously Organized: Highly detail-oriented, exceptionally accurate, and adept at follow-up, ensuring that no communication or task falls through the cracks.
- Strong Prioritization and Time Management Skills: Ability to effectively manage multiple high-priority tasks in parallel, set clear expectations, and meet deadlines in an environment with a high sense of urgency.
- Customer-Centric Attitude: Approach your work with a positive and professional demeanor, always focused on meeting the needs of our employees.
- Self-Motivated: Display a strong drive to learn and develop new skills, keeping pace with evolving communication trends and strategies.
- Easily Grasps Technical Details: Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn and apply complex technical terminology and concepts.
- Video Editing experience in Adobe Premier Pro.
