What You Will Be Doing

• Design and implement innovative ELL/ESL/ESOL workshops that accelerate K-8 students' proficiency across all language domains—listening, speaking, reading, and writing
• Spark enthusiasm and motivation through engaging instructional sessions that make language acquisition an adventure rather than a chore
• Monitor and assess individual student development to continuously refine your approach, ensuring personalized learning pathways that evolve with each child's progress

ESL Program Specialist Key Responsibilities

Drive continuous enhancement of Alpha's English Language Learning initiatives, ensuring our program remains innovative, effective, and at the forefront of language acquisition methodologies for diverse young learners.

Basic Requirements

• Academic credentials in TESOL, Linguistics, Education or related discipline with specialized focus on language acquisition principles
• Proven track record teaching ELL/ESL/ESOL to young students with demonstrable language proficiency outcomes
• Demonstrated ability to leverage Generative AI tools for creating personalized learning experiences and scalable educational modules
• Exceptional talent for student engagement through customized motivational approaches that cultivate genuine enthusiasm for language learning
• Authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship
• Commitment to working on-site at our Austin, Texas campus

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
