Job Description:

As a General Merchandise & Food Sales Executive Team Leader at Target, you'll be part of a dedicated team that brings passion and pride to everything they do. Your role will involve ensuring product availability, accurate pricing, and a positive guest experience in stores and online. You'll lead a team of experts in operations and efficiency, manage workload planning, drive sales, and create a guest-centric culture.

Responsibilities:

• Drive total store sales and profitability
• Manage operations, accuracy, and efficiency in General Merchandise and Food Sales
• Lead a team and oversee fulfillment work
• Develop workload plans and ensure completion of tasks
• Manage backroom and sales floor areas
• Create a culture centered in food safety
• Be aware of competition and leverage insights to drive business objectives
• Work a flexible schedule to meet guest and business needs
• Ensure product availability, freshness, safety, and accurate pricing
• Plan, lead, and follow up on organizational and operational changes
• Develop and coach your team to elevate their skills
• Provide excellent guest service
• Follow safety and compliance protocols
• Address store needs as required

Qualifications:

• 4-year degree or equivalent experience
• Strong interest and knowledge in the Food & Beverage business
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong business acumen
• Comfortable with ambiguity
• Ability to manage conflict and hold others accountable
• Ability to relate well and interact with all levels of the organization
• Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis and decision-making
• Ability to learn and adapt to technology
• Ability to manage workload independently

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to respond to guest or team member issues throughout the building
• Ability to interpret instructions, reports, and information
• Ability to handle and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 40 pounds
• Accurate cash register operations
• Ability to climb ladders
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
