Implement and supervise physical exercise programs for patients.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Master's Degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology or Similar Fields. 2 years experience in Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation

- Schedule: Full time, 36 hours, Department hour are 7am -5pm M-F and 7am-11am on Saturday. Hours vary by shift. Saturdays will rotate.

Responsibilities
Implement and supervise physical exercise programs for patients.
- Provide patient testing and assessment before and after rehabilitation.
- Plan and teach exercise therapy for patients utilizing test data, patient status and current medication regimen. Monitors patient's response and revises plan accordingly.
- Recognize contraindications and abnonmal patient responses to exercise. Respond appropriately to all situations including exercise cessation and referral to medical professionals.
- Provide exercise information for patients, peers and the community which may include public speaking and education classes.
- Ensure department equipment is properly maintained, calibrated and functioning correctly.
- Develop and maintain various files, records, reports; schedule patient appointments as required.
- Provide oversight to department activities in the absence of the manager.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Exercise Physiologist credentialed from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) preferred.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Master's degree preferred.
