The Department of Physics at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Lisbon (FCUL), invites expressions of interest for faculty positions at all academic levels, including Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor. The department seeks exceptional researchers in the fields of Experimental Condensed Matter Physics (including Soft Matter and Biological Physics) and Physical Engineering (Instrumentation and Electronics).
Eligible candidates should demonstrate an internationally recognized research profile, a strong commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration, and enthusiasm for contributing to both research and teaching within a dynamic academic environment.

– Motivation letter (maximum 1 page) specifying the scientific area of interest
– Curriculum Vitae (maximum 2 pages), including publication links, a brief description of current professional activities, and availability to assume a new position
– Achievements and publications (maximum 2 pages), detailing up to five main achievements and individual contributions
