Hourly Wage: $26.65-$28.06

Hours worked beyond the normal schedule will be paid at 1.75 times the regular rate. Trico has a partnership with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) 1116. This partnership aims to ensure fair wages and working conditions for all involved.

The Facilities Technician provides general upkeep of the office facilities, provides general maintenance of the buildings. Ensures equipment and operational systems are maintained and replaced as needed. This position works with other departments and personnel as needed for requests such as furniture arrangements, facility requests or changes. This position will assist in developing and implementing a preventative maintenance schedule for building maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and test building systems (plumbing, electrical, mechanical, controls).
  • Repair and maintain building systems, including plumbing, electrical, fire safety, and structural components.
  • Maintain and service air handling units, filters, mechanical, refrigeration, and cooling systems.
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and outside labor for building maintenance.
  • Ensure a safe, compliant, and pleasant working environment.
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and address safety or appearance issues around the building.
  • Assist with moving office equipment and unloading supplies.
  • Help manage inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Provide janitorial support when contractors are unavailable.
  • Stay updated on materials, systems, and codes for facility maintenance.
  • Respond to emergencies, adverse weather, and ensure facility operations.
  • Maintain building systems per manufacturer specifications and ensure compliance with codes

Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with general building maintenance such as HVAC, electrical and plumbing with a minimum of 2 years’ experience managing large facility building at multiple sites.
  • A valid Arizona driver’s license and a forklift operator certification, or the ability to obtain within the 6- month probationary period.
  • Knowledge with MS Excel and Word and familiar with facility system programs.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and work overtime and/or irregular hours as needed.
