You will manage crews, coordinate logistics, monitor job cost performance using HCSS, and drive projects toward safe, timely, and high-quality completion. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise crews performing site work including grading, utility installation, and concrete structure placement.
• Read and interpret grading plans, specifications, and geotechnical reports.
• Accurately set up cuts and fills; ensure fine grading for roads, pads, and lots.
• Track daily production and job costs using HCSS HeavyJob.
• Manage site logistics including material orders, manpower scheduling, and equipment coordination.
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers and Foremen to plan and execute daily and weekly goals.
• Ensure full compliance with safety procedures, company policies, and OSHA standards.
• Communicate proactively with owners, engineers, inspectors, and general contractors.
• Monitor job progress, resource use, and productivity to maintain project budgets.
• Mentor and lead crew members; foster a positive, productive team environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience managing earthwork and underground utility crews.
• Strong knowledge of GPS grading systems and site layout fundamentals.
• Understanding of production rates and ability to manage by metrics.
• Proven experience with installation of water, sewer, and storm drainage systems.
• Proficiency in HCSS HeavyJob preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders.
• High school diploma required; AS or BS in Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be dependable, organized, and solutions-oriented.

Schedule

• Full-Time: Monday-Friday
• 8-hour shifts with additional hours as needed to meet project goals
• Flexibility for occasional weekends depending on project needs
  
  

Location

• Office and field operations based in Cleveland, OH 44109
• Must be available to travel to project sites throughout Northeast Ohio and the surrounding region
